Today we offer thanksgiving for the lives of Fr. Jerome Langtry who is celebrating the 60th anniversary of his ordination and Sr. Carmen Shields who is celebrating 60 years as a member of the La Sainte Union des Sacre Coeur. After the basket collection at 10 o'clock Mass, John Martin acted as master of ceremonies during a short celebration which he conducted as follows... |

World Championship clay pigeon shoot DTL (Down The Line), which takes

Sponc
or Coltsfoot, grows on the roadsides in Lusmagh and also in tillage and
waste places. A perennial, it flowers in deep winter (An dhúluachair)
i.e. from Christmas Day until St. Bridget’s day (1st February). The
flower is pink and white and grows on a stem about 150 mm long... |
